Description:

Task: to take over the support of the current project, study the structure and functionality of the application and to update the necessary modules in CRM from Laravel 5 to Laravel 9.

We had no communication with previous developer's team and had no technical documentation about client's CRM, so we just started our work from studying the functionality of the application, given the extremely outdated version of Laravel.

The IC Studio team designed and implemented a scenario for upgrading an existing CRM system with minimal downtime, performing basic work on the production server at night on a day off, thus significantly reducing the amount of work required to update the CRM state.

Result: System was upgraded to Laravel 9, and started work faster and more effectively.
